Help us get the message out on Digg!

Hey guys, we’re getting a lot of great feedback from everyone about the site.  We wouldn’t be doing this unless we truly believed in this cause.  Information becomes more valuable when more people have it.  One thing we did was post our article on Digg to get the word out about our efforts (that includes you guys as well!)  Anyway, if you’re registered on Digg, go to this link and give us a few Diggs.  Thanks!

Though I like the general idea and mission of this site, I am a bit disappointed by the choice of topics. Is staying fit, asian towels, taking off shoes, and the hatred of Lucy Liu REALLY issues that should be of concern?

In a word, YES!!!! Our vision was to create a site with a diverse range of topics, and a diverse range of emotional delivery. We don’t want to be politically correct, and we want to write how we feel. We feel the main issues of dating and racism and stereotypes is key, but we also want to have fun with the site as well. We don’t want to be serious all the time. Also, we have an angry side, and we like to Rant as well, especially Contro. The towel and shoe article were mundane, but they illustrates a funny aspect of our cultural differences with caucasians. It is a valid point, and unique. I doubt you’ll ever read a rant like that anywhere on the net on asian towels. With exercise, it has nothing to do with Asians specifically, but it is connected to getting girls, so we HAD to mention it here. Fat SAMs don’t get as many chicks. If you have any ideas for articles, please send us an email and we’ll write about it. What articles in particular did you like, mikey?

Thanks for the feedback mynameismike. While it may seem fairly pretentious and superficial, we believe that it’s these sort of factors and trends that are causing SAM-like behavior. Our goal is to identify these issues and provide our view on whether or not we should compromise on them.

Please read our “About” section and let us know if you have anymore questions. As always, please email us your feedback and recommendation of topics to: singleasianmaleSAM@hotmail.com

We’ll be more than happy to post any story you submit if it’s relevant to the community. Thanks!

Besides I consider this a lifestyle site, why just narrow your view on certain socio-economic topics. Noticing the differences amoung culture is important to bridge the gaps. So something as a bath towel or shoes off, as mundane as it is holds some merit at how we look at other cultures. Like what we think of people that don’t wash their backs. The devil is in the details folks, be open minded thats the key.

I don’t want this to become some boring ass site showing only stats of why SAMs are getting jipped. Mix it up, people are welcome to their opinions, and they are welcome to article topics. If you’re not satisfied with some of the topics, write in and send it to the email in the ABOUT section at the top of the page.

Please don’t be whiners that don’t do anything, complaints are hot air — if you’re pissed about something in your life, put a pen to it or type it out and send it. You never know sometimes someone elses viewpoint can see whats affecting you and sometimes theres outside elements that affect us all.

Last thing I’ll say is that we’re all on the same team guys. Let’s not infight…that’s counter productive and doesn’t help the cause. Thanks!
